I was contact my Mayzie’s “sister” who wanted to get some beautiful last photographs of her! Their family had just been give the news that sweet senior Mayzie has cancer. She has become weak and they are trying to get her spirits up and keep her comfortable. These kinds of sessions are always hard and emotional… but all of my clients are always thankful that they do this session. Sometimes it is not the most ideal because the dog/cat is not at his peak personality, but a lot of my clients have never had their dog/cat professionally photographed – so this IS the only professional photograph they have of them and they are forever grateful! Therefore, I would encourage you to schedule a session with us to capture your fur-baby and create professional images and keepsakes can be enjoyed for years to come! If you have a senior or terminally ill pet, please contact me now to schedule a “Faithful Friend Session” – because time is of the essence, I will always try and accommodate and work you into my schedule ASAP, these sessions are at a reduced rate because the amount of images produced at these sessions are usually limited – this is also to allow people with any budget a way to afford professional photography of their fur-kid!

Look at those ears! She perked-up when her mom moved around the room – this pooch loves her family, especially her momma!
Thank you Beth and Family for allowing me to capture your sweet Mayzie – I hope she is able to stay comfortable and that these last days or months you have with her are nothing but sweet and filled with LOVE.
***UPDATE 6.26.2014: I heard from Beth and she says that Mayzie is doing “awesome”! She has regained much of her strength and is eating again! She has minor discomfort at times but is on a good drug regimen. She seems to be hanging in there for the time being. Her lab levels are still elevated but “we will keep her comfortable for as long as possible until it is her time”
