Over the years I have gained some pretty neat “dog friends”, Clarice of Flying Colors is one them! They offer dog training and also agility – be sure to check their website and facebook page for more information! Clarice asked if I would come and photograph these dogs in action. I LOVE freezing action and capturing candids! This kind of photography is always a challenge PLUS you add the blazing sun ducking behind the clouds, therefore ever changing my lighting and harsh shadow – BUT I am always up for a good challenge and I think I really captured some great shots!

I just LOVE these action shots! These dogs and owners are working hard!
This Golden Retriever’s ears were anxious to get up on the block – love me some flying golden ears!
When using a fast shutter speed you are likely to capture awkward positions from our4-legged friends 🙂
This Yorkie is adorable! She is just a little peanut in comparison with the big dogs – but she didn’t miss a beat and ran through all the obstacles unaware of her small stature.
She was very intrigued by me and my camera.
It was obvious this fur-kid and dad were enjoying their time together. I even captured a slobbery kiss occur between them 😉
After a good workout in the hot sun, a cold drink was in order!
